Girls Night In ~ A Girls, Inc. event
Our community is known nationally as one of the most philanthropic cities. Despite the challenges 2020 brought us all, Birmingham remained a community dedicated to giving. Girls, Inc., of Central Alabama fought through a challenging year, and it’s time to recognize those who gave of their time and energy to keep the organization front and center for girls throughout the Birmingham area.
On Sunday evening, March 14, Girls, Inc., presents their first-ever virtual “Girls Night In.”
Join them for a fun-filled evening with dinner delivered to your home from Post Office Pies (editor’s note: dinner tickets are no longer available, but individual virtual tickets are still available) and an invitation to view exclusive online content provided by Girls Inc. at 6pm on March 14 from the comfort of your own home. This virtual event is not just for the girls! The entire family can join in to support a great cause – inspiring local girls to be strong, smart, and bold! Girls’ Night In is presented by Publix Super Markets Charities and hosted by Girls Inc. of Central Alabama’s Junior Board, the Committee of 25.
WHAT: Girls’ Night In presented by Publix Super Markets Charities
WHEN: March 14, 2021 at 6 p.m.
WHERE: Your own home (This is a virtual event for which an online invitation will be provided upon ticket purchase.)
“Each year, thousands of girls benefit from Girls Inc. programming in Birmingham and beyond. Our girls have risen to the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic and we are thrilled that our Junior Board has done the same in planning this virtual event as a replacement for the Cajun Cook-off (our previous annual fundraiser) this year,” said Connie Hill, President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Central Alabama. “This virtual Girls’ Night In will be a fantastic way to celebrate our girls and honor those who supported us throughout 2020.”
Proceeds from the event will go directly to Girls Inc. here in Birmingham to fund programs that inspire girls to be strong, smart and bold. For information, please contact Development Director Meredith Alsabrook at (205) 599-5683 or firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.girlsinccentral-al.org.
